Furt, Sectionals, and next episode?

Glee has been living up to my expectations these last two weeks! The Glee wedding in the Furt episode was romantic and moving with Burt and Carol's vows, the glee guys standing up for Kurt, Sue standing up for Kurt and last but not least Finn's song and dance with Kurt at the wedding.

Special Education was a wonderful episode, but I found my heart breaking for Finn and Rachel. I was pleased to find that both New Directions and The Warblers will be going to Regionals! I can't wait to see what will happen then! I love Kurt and Blaine and The Warblers, but my hopes go out to New Directions. The songs were amazing in this episode! Hey, Soul Sister performed by The Warblers followed by New Directions with (I've Had) The Time of My Life and Valerie! Superb, as usual. Both teams did deserve to win; however, there is no way they both will be sent to Nationals.

Will Schuester may have had a victory with the glee club, but he was shot down when he came back to McKinley to find that Emma got MARRIED!!!!! Carmma!! Dr. Carl and Emma went to Vegas and got married! But will it last? Isn't there a part of Emma that still loves Will? Guess we will see!

Tonight's episode is A Very Glee Christmas!! Will Finn and Rachel work things out? Will Kurt and Blaine get together? What will happen between Will and Emma? And of course, what kind of shenanigans will Sue Sylvester come up with?

Now they've been kissed

OK, that's what I'm talking about! Last night's episode of Never Been Kissed was truly inspiring! That's what Glee has been missing!

So glad to have Puck back and there's nothing like a duet to put in back into the groove! One Love (People Get Ready) with Artie was absolutely beautiful! Mark Salling referred to the duet on Twitter as the "partie." I love it.

I'm so proud to love a show that is all about celebrating the differences in yourself. The Glee against the bulling aspect of this episode was perfect. Kurt has always been so strong, but when people are constantly dragging you down, it can become too hard for some. But with the help of Blaine (Darren Criss), Kurt has to courage to stand up for himself. And SURPRISE! Unexpectedly, the big football playing bully isn't so tough after all.

Coach Beiste also suffered some tough times in this episode. But thanks to Will's sweet words and actions, she realizes that she really is beautiful.

My favorite song in the episode had to be the rival school performing Teenage Dream. Darren Criss has the voice of an angel!

I have to say that I missed Emma this week. After Rocky Horror Glee Show, I thought she'd still be around. I suppose she's off getting better with Dr. Carl; I have to admit, I would too!

Next week brings Gwyenth as "The Substitute!" Don't miss it!!

Glee's Changing

Tonight's episode of Glee is going to be one for the books, I just know it. Never Been Kissed is the name of the episode. I think the episode will focus on Kurt, but Coach Beiste is also back! Some of the numbers that will be on the show tonight include Teenage Dream, a mash-up of Start Me Up and Living on a Prayer and a mash-up of Stop! In the Name of Love and Free Your Mind. I cannot wait!

Some of the things to look forward to this season include Gwyneth Paltrow joining the show as yet another love interest for Will Schuester and Sue Sylvester getting married!!

This season has been wonderful, but it has changed a lot from the first season. It is definitely a lot more sexual. And this has even become prevalent in the press. GQ (Gentlemen's Quarterly) Magazine recently released an issue spotlighting Glee and its stars, Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, and Dianna Agron. The magazine published several racy photos of the actors (see the photo to the right). It caused quite a controversy, although I believe was unnecessary because it was a men's magazine. However, it does show how the show is changing from a family show to more of a young adults to adults show. The Britney Spears episode is where the change all began.

Regionals and a new start to Glee!

The end of last season brought Glee to Regionals. New Directions performed a series of Journey songs that had everyone tapping their feet along. But all the excitement brought yet another exciting event: Quinn going into labor! While most of the New Directions crew went to the hospital to support Quinn, Rachel stayed behind to hear Vocal Adrenaline give a phenomenal performance of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. The dancing and Jesse St. James' voice was almost enough to give them the title right then and there. However, if I had been a judge, I would have had to notice that Vocal Adrenaline has one male lead and one girl that sang a couple lines. At least New Directions has several amazing singers in their Glee club! Unfortunately, I was not a judge. Instead, Sue Sylvester, Josh Groban, Olivia Newton-John, and the local newscaster who thinks he's all that and a bag of chips. Together, they vote Vocal Adrenaline as the winners and New Directions didn't even place.

Is that the end of Glee, you ask? According to Principal Figgins, it is. But not without a fight from Emma Pillsbury! Will Schuester catches Emma yelling at Figgins about how unfair it is to cut the Glee club after all their hard work. She tells Will that some things are worth fighting for. Will hopes she means that for the two of them, when she denies it, he calls her out on it and tells her that he loves her and kisses her. Although she's dating her dentist.

But Will's not the only one to admit his love to his lady. Finn also told Rachel that he loves her. But that's not even all! Puck, too, admitted to Quinn that he loved her back when they first had sex, and even more now that they had the baby. Although they do not decide to keep her, they name her Beth. And none other than Ms. Cororan (Rachel's birth mother) adopted her.

But the most shocking of all, finding out that Sue Sylvester voted for New Directions to win! She clearly wants to keep McKinley's Glee club alive! So it is she that talks to Figgins and gives the Glee club one last shot!

So Gleeks, are you ready?? Are you ready for the new season to begin?? Well get ready! Tonight!! Tonight!! New characters have come to McKinley! Emma's dentist boyfriend? JOHN STAMOS!! The Glee club also gets a few more members and McKinley gets a new football coach! Don't miss it tonight at 8/7c!

One more to go!

Only one more episode of this season to go. I do not want it to come. What will I do with my Tuesday nights before Glee returns for season 2?

Well this last episode, Funk, was interesting. A few of our favorite characters ending up in some sticky situations. Puck and Finn almost getting expelled from school, Mrs. Schuester getting the hots for a particular someone a little too young for her, and Mr. Schuester pretending to have the hots for his arch nemesis. That's what I call funky.

This episode was unfortunately, not one of the better ones. The best scene was definitely Puck, Finn and Mercedes performance. Other than that, the show was almost awkward and uncomfortable to watch. Some of the "funks" the characters were put in threw off even the audience.

Hoping for a phenomenal season finale!

Dreams coming alive in Glee!

Again, I must apologize for not writing on the last two weeks. Especially since they were both so fantastic!

"Laryngitis" was absolutely wonderful especially with Rachel and Finn. Finn's cover of "Jessie's Girl" was clever and adorable! Leaving all the gleeks ready for some more Rachel/Finn love!

But it doesn't exactly compare to last week's "Dream On" episode. Neil Patrick Harris was hilarious and perfect for the role he was cast! And I might be a little biased in saying that the episode is one of the best yet because Artie is my favorite character! It was a thrill to get to see him dance!!! I love any episode with that features Artie!! I wish they would give him more solos!! His voice is so smooth and beautiful, anyone would be a fool not to adore him!

Another exciting twist to the plot involved the wonderful return of Idina Menzel! I've been waiting to find out why she gave that sly look to Jesse St. James in the first episode back! I think we've all been waiting to also hear her sing! And we got it in "Dream On"!

Cannot wait to see how the twist turns New Directions around!

Reputations

Fellow Gleeks, I apologize for not posting about Glee's episode, "Home." Honestly, after seeing the Madonna episode I did not know how to respond to the next that didn't quite stand up against the Madonna episode.

Bringing April Rhodes (Kristin Chenoweth) back was a bit of drama, yes. And she does have the most incredible voice, so I appreciate Glee for allowing us to hear her amazing voice yet again. However, I'm afraid to say that they brought her back too soon. We are still in the process of the first season. And most of her story was the same as her previous episode where she is searching to find where she belongs and Will helps her along the way. Again with the "You're right, Will."

The beauty of the episode came with Mercedes and her wonderful confidence in herself. Although Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" is a song more often made fun of than not, Mercedes and the Cherrios gave it brilliant meaning.

When it comes to Will and his love life, as the past episode, "Bad Reputation" focused on heavily, I think we need to cut the guy some slack! He married his very first girlfriend. I believe he is in shock of how to handle women wanting him, because when he was married, he remained faithful to his crazy wife.

However, explaining himself to Emma would probably be a smart decision seeing as she thinks worse than what is true. Emma thinks he is something he is not and said that they need to start seeing each other for who they truly are. The sad part is, Will is who she thinks he is, she's just not giving him the chance to explain... he is newly single and is not quite ready to jump into another serious "let's get married" relationship.

But Will is not the only one with a "bad rep" in this episode, oh no... Sue Sylvester gets a little taste of the humiliation in this episode when her jazzercise routine to "Let's Get Physical" is leaked onto youtube. But again, surprise, surprise, Sue lands on top. Olivia Newton-John gives her a call and together they redeem themselves from that song with an all-new video featuring Sue Sylvester!

While Will and Sue create there bad reputations from their actions, a few of the kids in the glee club decide they too need bad reputations to be noticed in school. When a "Glist" is leaked naming the top ten most scandalous students in the school, the students are not offended for being on the list, rather offended for not being placed in the top three or not on the list at all.

Artie, Mercedes, Kurt, Brittany, and Tina decide to take drastic measures and stage an uproar in the library! The group "gets their glee on in the stacks" with the ever-so-popular and ever-so-terrible "Can't Touch This." Their attempt fails, however, when the school librarian asks them to perform for her Sunday church service.

But one glee club member does succeed in ruining more than her reputation. Rachel decides to make a music video to the song "Run, Joey, Run" featuring Puck as the leading man, Jesse St. James as the leading man and Finn as the leading man. But each leading man, thinks they are the only leading man. When the video premieres for the class, Puck, Jesse, and Finn are furious. Not only is Rachel's reputation ruined by the making of the film, but she also ruined her relationships. Jesse St. James breaks up with her because she "broke his heart" and he can no longer trust her.

The episode comes to a close with Rachel singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" with Jesse, Puck, and Finn.

But my heart does not linger as Jesse walks out the door leaving Rachel in the room alone, no. My heart breaks as Finn leaves the room before the song is over... before anyone else as gotten up to go. Poor, Finn.

Rachel and Finn forever! Too bad she messed up... Hopefully she can save her reputation and relationship with Finn soon! Tune in for the new episode, "Laryngitis," tomorrow!!
